The first thing you’ll notice about one of my photo sessions is the differences.

As a photographer, I love to concentrate on the portrait session rather than being a salesman who enco

urages clients to pay extra for a never-ending list of à la carte items.  I believe the best of both worlds, for me and my clients, is to take full advantage of the portrait session, and allow you full control of the digital negatives afterwards.  All digital negatives are for the client’s use, and do not contain printing or sharing restrictions, or visible copyright information, like the samples on this website.

Also, your time is valuable – as a busy parent, who can be bothered with a follow-up appointment just to order prints?  And these days, no one wants to wait several weeks to receive those prints.  Your child is growing so quickly, several weeks is just too long.  Your images will be online and in the mail, usually within 24 hours.

Although the majority of my clients are quite comfortable working with their CD full of digital negatives, should you require any print expertise, I am here to help.  And don’t worry, should your CD somehow become damaged, I maintain a full backup of the photo session, just-in-case.

Taking photos at a location of your choice makes your child much more at ease than going to a foreign studio.  The session has a calm tone, there’s no one waiting behind you fo

r their appointment.  If your child has a tantrum, we can wait.  And if your child is shy, we have the luxury of time to let him or her open up.  This calm environment allows me to build a rapport with your child, enabling me to capture their wonderful fleeting glances, smiles, and grimaces. 

Children’s portraiture is not unlike fine art photography. It’s about capturing those subtle moments in time, that certain expression, the joy a child brings to a room. I look  forward to capturing those moments for you and your growing family.
